Students in Altoona, PA, USA,
Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, and Devon, UK shared their ideas for toys of the future.
Some students used a few Internet sites to see what others thought, however,
most just gave us their own ideas.
Students from the USA participated in a Toys Of the Future contest. Here are the results:
WinnerThe name of the toy is the Tiny Toy Tank. It moves around on a track and is powered by a light. You can find it at Special Toys for Kids, Inc. Winner"The Makenater" - This device is a toy inventor. It can invent a toy and can fold into a trophy. You can talk into it and tell it what to make you. It can make anything, and it can invent something for you, too. It can even make real animals. To tell it what to do, press talk. When you are done talking press invent. Talk into the speaker. Flyer: It's a skateboard that flies. You attach your feet to the Flyer and the just behind it and make it fly. The wings make it glide and the pointer at the front beeps when you're a mile away from running into somethng.
