Soon after the argument, Bob, Chloe, Nik, and Kat all agreed to go in and explore the house together. Wow, this is really --" began Chloe, interrupted by Bob.
"Scary?" Bob suggested, glancing over at Nik.
“I believe," said Nik, "that Chloe was goin' to say dirty. Am I right?"
"No, actually, I was going to say cool," explained Chloe. Kat snickered at the hurt expression on Nik's face.
"Oh, there's a lot of things hanging on the wall," Chloe stated, trying to break the silence.
"Um, yeah, some look really old, maybe even ancient ...," Bob's voice drifted off. "There are two rooms to the side of us and a set of stairs. Should we go in one of the rooms?" suggested Kat.
Nik, who finally spoke up and was feeling frightened again added, "I-I'll just stay right here and stand guard."
