"I mean you, " replied Bob.
"Aw, come on Bob, don't dare Nik to go in. You know he's just a baby. He's too scared to do anything!" exclaimed Chloe.
"I am not!" Nik remarked tears swelling in his eyes.
Seeing this, Kat finally spoke up. "Guys stop it. You're hurting his feelings!
"His feelings wouldn't be hurt if he weren't such a baby," murmered Bob.
"Well, would you go in?" Kat asked Bob.
Bob, taken aback by this, replied, "Um, well, you see, the thing is ..."
"Guys, look!" Nik said.
The door to the house now stood ajar, and everyone had mixed looks of suprise, fear, and curiosity.
